Unstoppable Software is now proud to offer Kofax Document Capture software as part of its suite of document management software offerings.

Kofax is a world leader in the space of document imaging, and their tools allow users to scan, index, OCR and categorize paper documents from both desktop-class and high speed scanners.  By indexing your documents as you scan them, you avoid the common problem of ending up with a large number of PDFs with no way to tell them apart from one another other than the file name.  Indexing, OCR’ing and tagging your documents at the point of creation (when they are still paper) means that the electronic records you end up with have intelligence built into them about their contents, meaning, and their overall purpose for your business.

The most common application of Kofax’s software in our solutions will be as the point of creation of paper records that are being scanned into our world-class Enterprise Document Management System - M-Files.  The advanced tagging features of Kofax’s tools will mean that the documents, once in M-Files, can be searched for simply by a “metadata tag” (i.e. category), or by searching for words that appear within the files.
